Dangling from the ledge

I want to run away. As fast and as far as I can.

I'm dangling from the ledge and little by little my fingers are slipping. I don't know how much longer I can hold on.

You know how when your skin is burned it's much more sensitive and everything hurts more than usual? Even a breeze will make those damaged nerves stand up and scream. That's me since Friday.

I need to go to the lake. I haven't in several days. I need to be closer to the water and nature.

I totally understand that "burnt skin" sensitivity; sounds, touch, even visual sometimes.

Hang in there.

Ok, let me be clear about my question I left before. I believe that the one who can help you is Jesus. My understanding is that WICCA is very anti-Jesus, if you would. The only thing I'm curious about, is if at any time between the ages of 16 and 34, have you given Him a chance to help you? The bible says of Jesus, "By His stripes, we are healed." I believe that includes healing for "mental" problems such as bipolar disorder. I also believe that He can do much more for you. The Bible is clear that such healing is secondary to the greatest of all things that He has already done for us. Through His sacrifice on the cross, we can obtain forgiveness for all our sins, and then spend forever in peace. So, to sum it up, this is what I believe Jesus would offer you now, and you only have to just accept it:

1. Forgiveness of your sins.
2. Healing

Just as a closing note for you, the Bible also says that "He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love, and a SOUND MIND." That's his offer to you now.

cliff, seeing as how my blog is not about religion, but bipolar, this will be my only response on the basis of religion. If you want to discuss bipolar, I will be happy to continue a conversation. Until then, this is all you get.

I was christian up until about 4 years ago. I was a true believer. I still have bipolar, though.

You know, Wiccans aren't anti-Jesus. There are many names for the God. We just don't believe that a person is sinful or has to ask for forgiveness. We get to have the wonder and beauty that the God and Goddess provide just because we exist.

I have to tell you cliff, I usually blast someone who tries to preach their religion to me. Understand that isn't because of my religion. Please understand that. It's because of my own experiences within the christian religion. However, I'm not blasting you because I don't see it making a bit of difference and I don't have the energy to expend on doing it. Please don't talk to me any more about your religion helping me as I'm not interested in hearing it.

In that respect, I guess you were right. About whether or not I would listen, that is.

mom, thanks for your comment. It helps to know I'm not alone in these things.
